You Have completed class XII this year, so why you can’t take directly admission for diploma in Engineering field of your choice which is 3 years course duration. There are so many fields such as- Mechanical, Civil, Electroics, IT, Electrical and among others.
ITIs (Idustrial Training Istitutes) offers a Certificate courses in Various Technical and Non- Technical trades like: Diesel Mechanic, Electronic Mechanic, Filter, Civil Draughtsman (with AUTOCAD), Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Mechanic, Electrician, Motor Vehicle Mechanic, Computer Operator, Programming Assistant, Instrument Mechanic, Surveyor, Plumber, Hair and Skin Care (beautician), Photographer, Stenographer, Preservation of Fruits & Vegetables, Dress Making, Secretarial Practice and so many various fields are present.
These Vocational Courses duration are of 1 year. After that you can get admission in Diploma Engineering and thereafter you can get lateral entry into the 2nd year of a regular BE/BTech programme.
You can also enroll yourself for the Professional bodies such as the Institutions of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineers or the Institutions of Engineers among others. When you clearing all the exams you will be considered equivalent to a BE/BTech.
