Want to opt Sociology in prelims and mains of the Civil Service Examinations. Is it the right choice?

I do not have a formal degree in Sociology but I would like to choose it for both in the prelims and mains of the Civil Service Examinations. So please suggest me that is this a good choice for me or either else.

    Many students have opt subject either Socioloy or Psycholoy for studied Bachelor level. It is very popular subject between the students because to easy score in Socioloy.

    The programe which is prescribed by the UPSC is very easy to understand and interesting to study. Sociology is a critical part of the human life as like Marriage, Family, Kinship(equality) and Social separation among others. So, no formal degree is required to opt for Sociology.

    But you don’t think that it is very easy subject and take it lightly. In Sociology syllabus is quite vast and it is divided into 10 parts. Further study can subdivided into 3 main categories like- concepts, institutions and theories, all of which you become master before taking the exam. You are also consult IGNOU for collect study material while preparing for the exam.
